I was booked in for a toner and hair cut originally and after a consultation found I would benefit to colour my hair to get the result I would be happy with.
My experience was great with Mandy and Alisha, from start to finish. I felt listened too, they acknowledged my concerns and built a plan together. They both were honest and upfront with what they were needing to do and discussed costs. I left feeling way more confident and happy with my hair. So a huge thank you to Alisha and Mandy.
I would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

Rodney Wayne Hornby will be my forever go to hairdressers. The amount of time and effort that was put into making me feel confident, fresh, and new was absolutely memorable. Great conversation. Best Hairdresser I have gone too! Pearl was outstanding, she actually listened to what i had to say about my hair. I was having issues with my scalp and my hair was really unhealthy.
She did a free of charge scalp analysis using a microscope camera where it analysed my hair follicles and recommended the best products to use. I have never had this before but always wanted it! Pearl cut it perfectly to what i wanted too. My hair has never felt this shiny and healthy before, only when i was younger.
100% recommend Rodney Wayne Hornby, super friendly team and amazing service from all the staff as well with a tea and fudge to top it off! ☺️ I will be back to see how my scalp is going with the products, through their scalp analysis in a few months!

Great service. I was a walk in and they were able to fit me in. Loved my freshly washed and dried hair with soft curls. My service was completed by a junior trainee but she did a fantastic job and was very competent.

Went in for a wash, cut and blow dry with Pearl and had a wonderful experience, she did not make me feel self conscious in anyway due to my hair condition and allowed to me feel super comfortable, will definitely visit again 🙂 would highly recommend Pearl!

Aleisha was an absolute star (Hornby branch) I booked an appointment on the same day. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and didn’t judge my faux pas. She delivered a great cut (it had been 2 years since my last cut!) as well as offering & supplying extra treatments for a great cost! Treat yourself, you’re worth it!

What a lovely experience at their first evening event. I loved getting hair advice from staff who had the same thick curly hair as me. Very informative, great food, games and we made new friends. Will recommend to friends for their next event.

Mandy is the consumate professional stylist, she is totally focused on her clients needs and makes you feel so special while in her care. The ladies were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Walked out with soft, beautiful hair having walked in with a head of straw! Would highly recommend this store for anyone that’s looking for tip top treatment. A fantastic head massage, and a lovely pot of tea (other drinks available as well). No need to go all the way into town, come to Hornby, you won’t be disappointed!!

No longer able to wash my own hair now, I go to Rodney Wayne Hornby. Also every 5 weeks they do my regrowth, as well.
Staff are awesome and so professional.

Mandy is an absolute lifesaver! She was referred to me by another hairdresser after receiving a disastrous haircut (from a different salon) that transformed my already short hair into a mullet just two days before Christmas. She worked some magic and made it so much more flattering without having to shorten it further - I walked out feeling so much more confident. She’s not only unbelievably skilled but also warm, patient, and detail-oriented. She’s really understanding about me wanting to grow it out, and she doesn’t mind if I come back when I am ready. I felt safe in her hands and am so happy to have found such a skilled hairdresser in our new hometown. She recently cut my daughter’s hair as well, and once again, she was incredible. Mandy is AMAZING!! Mandy is the only hairdresser that has told me my damaged hair CAN be Blonde and still healthy. She has made my dreams to be blonde come true 💕 At my last appointment I had Mandy and Rio, they are both super friendly and knew exactly how I liked my hair to be done. I 100% recommend them both!!

I had a beautiful braid and updo done by Pearl for my brother's wedding. She did an absolutely incredible job, it was beautiful. She also knew that I was time pressured and worked really fast without compromising on quality. Could not recommend Pearl any higher for styling for events 🙂
