Had such a good experience with Taylah yesterday afternoon. Literally the calmest, sweetest and kindest soul. I was nervous going in as I never really had good experiences with other salons and other hairdressers in other malls! But Taylah made me feel so welcomed and comfortable right from the start until I was done.
She’s also really good at what she does & so full of knowledge. She’s advised me on what my hair needs - that I wouldn’t normally know, recommended a few products that I should try use and pointed out which parts of my hair needed attention which sometimes is not what you want to hear but you need to & an experts advice is worth taking in the long run!
I also loved what she did with my hair! I only went in for a wash & blow wave and she walked me through the whole process and explained what products were being used in my hair.
Such a lovely experience, I left so happy and no complaints 🥰
I will definitely be making my way back to this place.

Such an great experience! Taylah was amazing. I didn't know what to do with my hair and so I let her suggest what was best for me. And she really brought my hair back to life! It's been over a week now, and I am still getting compliments on my hair. Thank you Taylah! See you again soon!

Just wanna give a shout out to Ati and Shellie for fixing my hair recently! I walked in unhappy with a previous salon’s balayage, and these two stylists were so helpful and ended up fixing my uneven and greenish brown highlights (yes, green!) into a nice chocolate red brown.. they were so attentive and kind and I cannot recommend them enough!

My request was for honey brown with long layers & face framing. As my hair is quite long, it was quite pricey and took about 5hrs, but staff took the time to discuss my needs and make sure I was getting my moneys worth. Taylah was lovely and such a good chat during the process. She gave me exactly what I had asked for too. Love the results, thanks Taylah!

Absolute fabulous service, great hair cut and amazing staff. Thank you so much for my hair cut. Ati was fantastic. I haven’t been at a hair dresser in 7+ years and didn’t even know what was in and what to do. Ati took the time to recommend products and gave me the best hair cut, nice layers (which where done horrible the last time I went and that’s what spooked me to go to another hair dresser again). I had such a great experience at Rodney Wayne Sylvia Park today. I went in feeling nervous because another salon had completely messed up my layers, but Taylah was an absolute lifesaver. She was so calm, fresh, and really took the time to understand what went wrong and what I liked. Before even touching the scissors, she explained the whole process, recommended products, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure we were completely on the same page. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, it shows in the care and attention she gives!

I feel I met my “hairdresser for life” today. Matt honestly made me feel so understood, so appreciated and so heard with what i wanted out of my hair appointment today. I have honestly never felt so seen by someone who just “gets” the outcome. He went above and beyond and honestly- as long as this man in at this salon…this aussie has found her hairdresser home in AKL!!!!

My hair was done less than 30min ago because I’m so happy with my results I needed to do a review as soon as! I had the beautiful Shellie today who is literally a magician. My hair came out so perfect, her attention to detail , and the blow wave was amazing! 😍 I wouldn’t go anywhere else from now on. Such an awesome team, very welcoming, would highly recommend ☺️

I have been going to Rodney Wayne Sylvia Park for years and HELEN works magic! I go in with an idea or a picture and she delivers each and every time. Started with just a basic color and trim, to bangs, highlights, cuts and recently, bob haircuts. Her coloring is just top notch. I always walk out of the salon feeling happy and satisfied. Fully recommend Sylvia Park. Their staff are friendly and it's always a laugh walking in there.

I had Helen styling my hair and her attention to detail was impeccable! She made sure every strand sat perfectly, and despite being so thorough, she was also incredibly efficient, and a very lovely person all round. I could not recommend my experience at Rodney Wayne Sylvia Park more 🙂

I went in with no idea how I'll have my hair. I suggested to have my hair layered and my girl Taylah did not disappoint me. She was kind and gentle. I can't speak of them highly enough. In particular Aloma completely related to my hair. My long, thick, curly, frizzy and dry hair. The kind of hair that nobody likes was tamed and shiny and looking good by the time I left. I even had a nice little back massage while getting my hair washed. What a privilege. Thank you guys. I'll be back.
