Popped in on my lunch break to get a quick hair cut and left feeling brand new. The whole team was welcoming, but Trina really made the experience 5 stars! She listened to and acknowledged exactly what I wanted, was very knowledgeable, and is super personable which made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. My hair feels so healthy and fresh, highly recommend an appointment with Trina!

I stopped in after work for a little pick-me-up and was greeted by such welcoming, friendly staff. I have very frizzy hair, and they recommended an amazing treatment that made a huge difference, along with a beautiful haircut that perfectly suited my face shape and hair type. I’ve never seen layering done so well, it felt like I was getting a genuine style and transformation rather than just a quick trim. The attention to detail was incredible, and it was fantastic value for money. I’m so happy with the result and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

I had the most beautiful experience with Vee! She took such good care of me and my hair and gave me the best haircut I've had in a long time. Super respectful and really listened to all of my concerns and gave me great advice/info on my type of hair and it's growth. Definitely book in with her. I will be going back to her.

Had my hair done by Issac today and what a lovely experience! From start to finish he was so informative and attentive, and the head massage was to die for. So knowledgeable and genuinely sweet. My hair looked 1000x better, and he finished with a beautiful bouncy blow wave. I felt like a million bucks—still bouncing all the way home. Thank you, Issac!

Booking my appointment at Rodney Wayne was smooth and easy online. They’re clearly busy, so I’d recommend booking ahead. David was very helpful and took the time to recommend the best options for my hair. All the staff were welcoming and genuinely happy to help, which made the whole visit really pleasant. They do require a deposit, which is completely understandable. Overall, a great experience, definitely recommend! They’re located on the second floor in Commercial Bay.

An amazing experience had with this salon. I'm fairly basic when it comes to getting my hair done. They were so lovely warm and welcoming to me. Also a solo mother and they kept my toddler entertained so I could feel pampered. Amazing work. Definitely coming back soon 😊

I had such a wonderful retail experience trying to find the right shampoo and conditioner for me, not only were they clearly educated on the products but both the girls were so helpful and I could tell they really cared about helping me not just selling to me. Much appreciated

I’m in NZ for six months and was worried about finding a new hairdresser as I’ve used the same one in the UK for 10 years! So happy to have found David at Rodney Wayne commercial bay. He did a fantastic cut and conditioning treatment on my very fine hair - I’m super pleased with it, can’t wait to return to get him to do a fresh colour for me.

I felt welcome, listened to and taken care of. I underwent quite a change and loved the result. David is a very skilled and competent hairdresser and I felt the salon worked really well as a team. Lots of great products/ knowledge to support me at home as well.

Came for a long overdue fringe trim and layer tidy up after work tonight. I was looked after by Giselle who was not only an attentive listener but also proved she was an expert in her craft while being very approachable and efficient. Its been a long time since iv had my hair cut because I'm not a fan of the experience but decided to treat myself while on holiday. Such a warm welcoming environment. Everyone was so friendly. David cut my hair and did a great job..it was really nice to have someone who understood the issues that come with my wavy hair and texture. I felt.so comfortable and it was a really relaxing experience with a lovely outcome.Highly recommend
